Indication:

Xarelto (Rivaroxaban) is an anticoagulant (blood thinner) used to:

• Prevent blood clots in patients after knee or hip replacement surgery.
• Reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
• Prevent stroke and blood clots in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) that is not caused by a heart valve problem.

It works by inhibiting Factor Xa, an essential component in blood clot formation, reducing the risk of dangerous clots.

Usage Instructions:

• Take one 10mg tablet once daily or as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
• Can be taken with or without food.
• Take at the same time each day for best results.
• Do not stop taking Xarelto without consulting your doctor, as it may increase the risk of clot formation.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for individuals with active bleeding disorders or severe liver disease.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney disease or are undergoing surgery.
• Avoid alcohol and medications that increase bleeding risk (e.g., NSAIDs, aspirin) unless advised by a doctor.
